What We Do - Organizations We Support

We raise funds to support injured veterans' rehabilitation programs in the Bay Area. The organizations we support focus on mental as well as physical wellness, and supportive housing. Each of these valuable programs teaches a new skill, gets veterans outdoors and motivated, builds on teamwork and ensures their affordable housing, once secured, is maintained.

Current Organizations Include:

E5 Therapy

E5 Therapy is a nonprofit based in Suisun City that provides specialized mental health services, including individual and group counseling, to military members and first responders. The organization helps wounded veterans by offering canine-assisted therapy and subsidized clinical care specifically designed to treat PTSD and the emotional impacts of service.

Molly's Angels

Molly’s Angels is a Napa-based volunteer organization that provides essential support services like transportation and companionship to local seniors and individuals in need. They help wounded veterans by offering free door-to-door rides to medical appointments and grocery stores, ensuring that those with service-related disabilities can maintain their independence and access vital healthcare.

Share the Care -- Napa Valley

Share the Care Napa Valley focuses on improving the quality of life for older adults and individuals with disabilities through fall prevention programs and the distribution of medical equipment. They support wounded veterans by providing at-cost or free durable medical supplies—such as walkers and hospital beds—and conducting home safety assessments to help veterans with physical injuries live safely at home.

Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing

Project Healing Waters teaches veterans to fly fish in Martinez and at the Golden Gate casting ponds and clubhouse. Experienced anglers then escort them on weekend outings to fish Northern California rivers and lakes.

Past Organizations Include:

Wooden Boats for Veterans

Wooden Boats for Veterans uses wooden boat renovation and sailing as pathways for restoring health and well-being to veterans and their families. Learning to sail and saving wooden boats are outlets for coping with PTSD, and traumatic injuries.

Homeward Bound of Marin

Homeward Bound of Marin is building an affordable housing complex for veterans in Novato that will include on-site supportive services from the VA. The housing complex is currently under development, and broke ground in January 2023.
