Presentation to CANB

 At the Annual General Meeting on November 28 Commander Richard Keith presented a check to Community Action North Bay (CANB).

The donation is earmarked for the CANB veterans' program providing interim housing and support services for vets in need.

Presentation to BAADS


From funds raised from the Wounded Veterans' Polo Benefit decribed below Chevalier Steve Mitchener presented $15,000 on behalf of the Commandery to the Bay Area Association of Disabled Sailors (BAADS) to promote sailing in the San Francisco Bay for injured veterans.

The BAADS veterans program is run by Chevalier Stephen Pendas (third from right).



Wounded Veterans Polo Benefit

 Held at the Wine Country Polo Club, Oakmont, CA, on September 7.


As a result of this fund raiser the Commandery was able to donate $50,000 to three worthy rehabilitation programs in the Bay Area serving injured veterans: Pathway HomeBAADS and  Community Action North Bay.

New Knights and Dames were welcomed into the Order at a May ceremony in San Francisco.

Following the ceremony members and guests enjoyed a black tie Ball at the St Francis Yacht Club. 


Presentation to the Pathway Home, Yountville

The Pathway Home provides care and rehabilitation for veterans suffering from PTSD. This vital program relies on private donations to continue. The Commandery is proud to have supported the Pathway Home program since its inception in 2008.
A $20,000 check was presented by Commandery members during the Graduation Ceremony on February 7 honoring the latest batch of veterans to complete the program.
